A Journey Rooted in Nature and Adventure

Growing up along the Hex River on the outskirts of Rustenburg, my love for the outdoors was instilled in me from a young age. Surrounded by nature, I developed a deep appreciation for the fauna and flora and learned the value of humility in life’s varied situations.

Fishing quickly became a passion—one could almost call it a serious hobby—as I spent countless hours perfecting the craft and connecting with nature on a deeper level.

In later years, my journey expanded into new realms of adventure. I immersed myself in anti-poaching initiatives, trail guiding, overland safaris, and lodge guiding. These diverse experiences took me across some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Africa—from the striking Namib Desert and the vast Kalahari to the enchanting Okavango Delta and the majestic Victoria Falls. Sharing these wonders with guests from all over the world has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life.

Among my many wildlife encounters, Botswana’s Chobe River holds a special place in my heart, particularly for the magnificent herds of elephants that grace the area. They remain my favourite among the countless species I’ve encountered. While my list of unforgettable animal sightings is extensive, witnessing the birth of a white rhino calf stands out as a truly awe-inspiring moment.

With a lifetime shaped by nature’s beauty and the diversity of Africa’s landscapes, I feel privileged to have shared these incredible experiences with so many, and my journey of exploration and connection continues.
