Starting at midday, this safari takes advantage of the cooler hours in the late afternoons just before sunset—when wildlife is most active and the African bush comes alive.

Pickup & Briefing

Guests are picked up and given a brief overview of the day by the field guide.

Enter Kruger National Park
  • Begin the safari drive as the park gates open. Early morning is prime time for wildlife activity.
  • Drive through iconic park areas such as Lower Sabie Rest Camp or Skukuza, depending on the day’s route.
3.
Spot the Big 5 & Other Wildlife
  • The guide will focus on areas where recent sightings have been reported.
  • Look for elephants at watering holes, lions on the move, and herds of buffalo grazing.
4.
Morning Break
  • Stop at a scenic picnic spot for refreshments and a restroom break.
  • Guests can enjoy pre-packed snacks (optional).

Continue Safari Drive
  •  Explore different sections of the park to maximize chances of seeing diverse wildlife.
  • The guide will share fascinating facts about the animals, trees, and birdlife.

Exit the Park
  • Drive back toward the exit gate with a chance for final wildlife sightings.

Drop-off
  • Guests are returned to their accommodation or meeting point.
